CEO & Founder
Dr. Dave Lundahl is passionate about fostering innovation to create a cleaner, healthier world. He is an entrepreneur—founding companies that follow this passion by providing consumer insights for faster and more successful innovation. Dave has held many industry leadership positions, written for various publications, and is sought for speaking engagements on topics that align with his passions. He served as a professor working in food product innovation at Oregon State University before starting InsightsNow in 2003. Dave holds a Master of Science degree in Statistics and a Doctorate in Food Science & Technology. He enjoys creating and sharing music as a singer-songwriter as well as playing racquetball, skiing, flyfishing and hiking.
Chief Research Officer
Greg Stucky has focused his career on the development of new methods, techniques and services for research innovations. His deep experience in the application of consumer behavior to product innovation has garnered industry attention and awards, with work featured in Harvard Business Review, The LA Times, ESOMAR World, and other industry publications. Greg has pioneered cue signals research, an approach where identifying product cues which motivate specific behaviors helps develop successful new products and brands. At InsightsNow, he is responsible for the growth of new business initiatives. Greg holds a master’s degree in food science and technology from Oregon State University. He enjoys backpacking trips into the wilderness, bowhunting, competitive taekwondo, exploring countries around the world and relaxing with his wife, glass of wine and bible.
Chief Financial Officer
Jim Smith strives to implement and improve cost-effective, efficient processes to improve cycle times with improved internal organizational visibility which he feels are key to organizational success. At InsightsNow, he manages finance, human resources, contracts and information services. Jim holds a master’s degree in business administration from Seattle University and is a Washington State Certified Public Accountant. He enjoys skiing, hiking, kayaking and fishing.
Vice President Client Partnerships
Kristen Dale is an entrepreneurial leader with deep marketing research expertise with more than 25 years’ focus on the verticals of consumer packaged goods, food service and media, with a passion for innovation and emerging methods. She values developing and cultivating strategic partnerships with organization leaders and collaborating with client teams developing strategic solutions to answer complex business issues in an ever-changing consumer environment and differentiate brands in a crowded marketplace. She holds a degree in marketing with a concentration in research management. Kristen loves introducing her teenage son to ’80s movies and watching old Columbo episodes with her husband; second to that is her passion for the Cubs.
Vice President of Operations
Sri Kankarla works tirelessly for process optimization as both a developer and change agent. Previously at IPSOS, he managed internal and off-shore teams of programming and quality assurance professionals while directing web-based survey research, design, deployment and management. Sri brings large-scale, global operations expertise to accelerate growth for InsightsNow and our clients. He holds degrees in hotel management, commerce, and a master’s degree in business administration. Sri loves sports, especially baseball. When he is not working, he is coaching his son in local little league and a travel baseball team.
Vice President of Marketing
Art Siegert is a self-starter and strategic thinker with a strong focus on tactical execution, who loves building winning teams. During his career, he has held various marketing leadership roles within SaaS, market research, non-profit, and fintech. Art oversees the marketing department at InsightsNow, where he works hand-in-hand with sales and project management to boost brand awareness, drive revenue, and implement growth strategies. He holds a degree in art with an emphasis on graphic design and has been recognized by his industry peers with multiple American Advertising Awards® (Addys) for his work. Art loves spending time with his family as a husband and father and playing competitive volleyball.
Senior Director of Client Partnerships
Dr. Sarah Kirkmeyer brings a strong business and scientific perspective to her work, with years of experience in sensory and consumer research for ingredients and consumer packaged goods. Sarah’s passion is to create differentiating value through innovative research that integrates insights from various sources into efficient and actionable recommendations. She’s inquisitive, collaborative and an industry leader, recently serving as a board member of the Institute of Food Technologists and is an Adjunct Professor at Penn State University. Sarah partners deeply with InsightsNow clients to understand how to best serve them and their projects. She holds a master’s in business administration and a doctorate in food science. She is committed to lifelong learning and enjoys gardening, interior design, cycling and family time.
Senior Director of Business Development
Ann Bracken prides herself in becoming an extension of her client’s team to really know and understand their initiatives—allowing her to help design truly actionable research that uncovers key insights to grow business. She brings more than 25 years of experience in consumer research in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, supporting top CPG companies across several categories including food, household cleaning, personal care and retail. At InsightsNow, Ann partners and consults with clients on business issues by working to develop meaningful research. Ann holds a master’s degree in business administration with a focus on marketing. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, vacationing to anywhere there is a beach and watching her daughter and teammates play softball and basketball.
Director of Client Partnerships
Kayte Hamilton is always seeking deeper connections, bringing unparalleled curiosity to the “what” and “why” behind consumer decision making. For the last 10 years, Kayte has worked equally in both qualitative and quantitative research as a moderator, project manager, research designer and analyst—allowing her to develop succinct hybrid research designs with an acute attention to detail, while maintaining the bigger picture on how research solutions impact client business goals. Kayte holds a bachelor’s in marketing, a master’s degree in mass communications with a focus on advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Brandcenter, and a market research certification from the University of Georgia. She is passionate about continued education in market research and is an active QRCA volunteer. Originally from Virginia, Kayte relocated to join the InsightsNow Chicago team in 2019—so she enjoys exploring the city and sees a dog adoption in her future as she settles into her new city!
CFS, Senior Research Director
Kimberley A. Greenwood has focused her career on understanding and translating behavioral and sensory research into actionable insights. She brings a high level of analytical skills, collaboration and sense of urgency to her work and finds joy in helping others achieve success. Her early career with companies like MillerCoors, ConAgra and Gallo Winery make her uniquely positioned to support, nurture and empathize with clients. For InsightsNow, she has led the charge away from traditional sensory-only studies to include implicit and hybrid techniques that deepen consumer and product understanding. Kimberley holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology with a concentration in Food Industry Management from Colorado State University. She gives back to her professional community through volunteerism for the Sensory Division of IFT (awarded Volunteer of the Year 2020), and the Minnesota branch of Society of Sensory Professionals. Kimberley is a Certified Food Scientist, trained sensory panel leader and enjoys cooking, wine tasting/pairing, being active and spending time with her family.
Senior Research Director
Jaclyn LaPoma enjoys designing and running research studies that help clients create products that align the sensory properties holistically. She brings more than a decade of sensory research experience working in the beauty and personal care industry. Jaclyn coordinates studies at InsightsNow for personal care, pharma, food and beverage companies. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science from Rutgers University, holds a certification in Sensory and Consumer Research from U.C. Davis and is a licensed cosmetologist in New Jersey. Jaclyn enjoys spending time with her family and taking her dog, Moe, on little adventures.
Julie Quante is an experienced consumer product researcher—from inception through analysis, reporting to communicating findings to stakeholders. She brings ingenuity, originality and resourcefulness to her work. As a Research Director at InsightsNow, Julie coordinates and facilitates studies for a multitude of consumer packaged goods companies and is heavily immersed in InsightNow’s pioneering Clean Label Enthusiasts® community. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Industrial Management and holds a certification in Sensory and Consumer research from U.C. Davis. Julie enjoys spending time on the water wakeboarding and wakesurfing. She and her family are avid travelers which includes hiking, backpacking or skiing.
Senior Researcher, Qualitative Insights
Amy Mahony is an engaging and energetic qualitative researcher, with years of experience building successful brands through behavioral and emotional insights and an understanding of human beings. She leverages online and in-person focus groups, dyads/triads, one-on-one interviews, and ethnographic methods to meet research challenges. She loves incorporating new methods, tools and techniques to build creative research designs that lead research teams to breakthrough thinking, ideas and opportunities. Prior to joining InsightsNow, Amy was an internal researcher at PepsiCo, Solae (DuPont) and Taco Bell. She holds a master’s degree in sensory science, is RIVA Trained, versed in Creative Problem Solving (CPS) and a member of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA). She loves to spend time outside with her family and dogs.
Qualitative Insights Researcher
Jenny O’Connor brings a wide range of market research experience to her work, with a specific background partnering with consumer packaged goods companies to design compelling and creative research and reporting. She has worked in a variety of research methods, both qualitative and quantitative. At InsightsNow, Jenny supports a variety of clients and research projects. She holds a master’s in business administration from Oregon State University. Her passion for long distance running has deepened her love for the outdoors and exploring new places.
Business Development, Membership Services
Amissa Sugden is a highly motivated problem solver, who takes pride in improving business processes and loves helping clients identify insightful solutions. She brings years of experience in customer service and sales coupled with a curiosity mentality. At InsightsNow, Amissa works as a bridge between marketing and sales, spearheads event planning, and ensures clients are connected to the resources they need, when they need them. Amissa’s focus in college was on business and environmental studies. She enjoys traveling, kayaking, hiking, and anything that involves adventuring somewhere new. She has a passion for health and fitness and loves spending time with family and friends.
Senior Research Director
Kenny is a creative and collaborative researcher who is passionate about innovation and designing products and solutions around a need. He strives to build holistic research designs that identify actionable research findings from complex quantitative and qualitative initiatives. Kenny holds a PhD from Washington State University (WSU), a Project Management degree from the WSU School of Engineering and Technology Management, and a B.S. in Biology from Centre College. Over the past five years, his career experience has spanned beverage, food, and consumer healthcare. He is excited about the opportunity to continue to grow through support in new categories and to build positive relationships with his clients. At the end of 2019, Kenny and his wife moved back to the rainy Pacific Northwest. He has too many hobbies to list that help him stay active. Kenny lives by the motto that “attitude determines your altitude.”
