Qualitative Research Expert, Deborah Potts, Joins InsightsNow
May 6, 2011 - Corvallis, Oregon – InsightsNow has hired industry expert, Deborah Potts to support their clients' innovation, product marketing, and strategic planning efforts. Deborah brings over 25 years of qualitative research experience to InsightsNow.

Deborah Potts, PhD specializes in qualitative research. She is a strategic thinker whose expertise has been applied to a wide variety of marketing challenges, both in her independent consultancy, Deborah Potts & Associates, and her collaborative practice “To the Max”. Deborah merges her strategic focus and passion for creativity and innovation processes in her work on new product development. She is co-author of Moderating to the Max: A Full-Tilt Guide to Creative, Insightful Focus Groups and Depth Interviews. Deborah also teaches at the Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI) and the European Creativity Conference (CREA). She is a senior trainer at RIVA, where she teaches the art and science of focus groups and is a long-standing member and frequent conference presenter for the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA).
As a psychologist, she brings theory and practice from the social sciences to qualitative research, including her work on storytelling. Deborah recently completed a three year term as Director of the Facilitating Creative Leadership program at the Creative Problem Solving Institute, where she was awarded CPSI’s coveted Distinguished Leader Award in 2009. Deborah received her Master’s and PhD degrees in Psychology from Northwestern University.
