Greg Stucky, Chief Research Officer at InsightsNow, to Speak at the Institute of Food Technologists Conference
June 3, 2011 - Corvallis, Oregon – InsightsNow, Chief Research Officer, Greg Stucky, will be speaking at IFT (Institute of Food Technologists) on June 13, 2011 in New Orleans. As a frontrunner in the market research industry and emotions research, Greg’s presentation, Going Beyond Liking Through an Emotions Framework for Product Development, will explore a new behavioral framework that focuses researchers on the emotions their product needs to create.
“These insights go beyond liking to inspire and guide product developers for building products that better deliver functional, sensorial, social and psychological emotional impact,” Stucky explains. “The framework is based upon emotions theory for how consumers’ expectations, concerns and product features cue emotions.”
Greg’s presentation is one of the featured IFT symposiums. He will speak alongside Paul Conner - Sentient Decision Science, James Yuan, Ph.D - PepsiCo. and Mark Serice - Griffith Labs Worldwide, in the Monday, June 13th symposium Using Emotions in Research to Deliver Great Products to Market.
Greg is a frequent presenter at industry events, like IFT. He was also nominated for the ESOMAR 2005 Best International Research Paper Award. From 2008-2009 he served as the chairman for the Institute of Food Technologists Sensory Evaluation Division. Since 1996, Greg has applied his exceptional skills and background to bring more than 300 food and personal care products to market. Greg holds a Master’s Degree in Food Science and Technology from Oregon State University and has been with InsightsNow since 2003.
