Other Standards of Excellence

Research can be complicated and puzzling. Often, there are many ways to solve a research problem and no steadfast right or wrong answers.  Yet, different approaches may lead to different results and, in essence, different decisions.  Some good, some bad.  Not much certainty here.  And when it comes to facing your business challenges, we want you to be more certain of your decisions.  Hence, it is imperative to bring in relevant expertise.  To this end, there are multiple dimensions of expertise that should be considered when faced with a research problem.

  • Research Expertise. Simply put, effective research requires knowledge that is both broad and deep in scope, mixed in with solid, tangible experience.
  • Process Expertise. An in-depth understanding of the innovation process enables research solutions to be developed in the context of a larger Holistic Consumer Framework™.
  • Business Expertise. By learning your business needs, challenges, issues, and dynamics, research solutions can be tailored that ask and answer the right questions, better enabling you to achieve business success.
  • Problem Solving Expertise. It is a science and an art to combine and, sometimes, tweak methods to arrive at the best solution.  By combining research, process, and business expertise with experience and tacit knowledge, along with a portfolio of research services, you can be confident that the delivered solution is the best possible solution.
